Manba Makeup Tutorial!

Hello guys!

Sorry I've been away again, I find it hard to juggle blogging/youtube with studying. I'm at my last year in college and it's a very fast paced course, I'm learning so much and I am looking forward to qualifying and eventually specializing as a masseuse. I'm so glad I've finally found my goal in life! I want to go to Uni next year or very soon to study the Japanese language, but I need to get onto my own feet first. :3

So anyway, I recorded a manba/ganguro makeup tutorial yesterday, I really enjoyed doing the makeup, I thought it kind of suited me! haha!

When I went on to edit the video on my laptop it was lagging like crazy, I don't even know how I managed to edit the video. I literally just guessed where to put all the captions, it was a nightmare! I think it's time I got a new video editing software. I would use Sony Vegas if it wasn't so complicated >.>

I used some pictures I found on tumblr and instagram as refrences, hence why I kept glancing down throughout the video. Oh and the wig is a wig I was using for a Felicia cosplay, haven't gotten around to actually wearing it, but I plan to at the May expo :3

Here's a closeup of the eye makeup (the colours are a bit washed but hey):

The contacts are GEO Angel Blue, I should get around to reviewing them as I've been wearing them since may for my Viera cosplay.

Ulzzang Makeup Tutorial

Haven't really posted in a while (whoops!), but now I'm back and planning to post more. I was on a mini hiatus after finishing my cosplay and getting back into college and blah. But now I'm here so rejoice all! xD

So anyway, this tutorial was hard for me to do believe it or not. Since Ulzzang doesn't really seem to be classed as a style and more-so just a "beautiful face" or something along those lines, it made it quite challenging as there wasn't really a set makeup style for this...I researched and researched then just came to the conclusion that it was just minimal makeup xD

I wanted to use a white eyeliner on my waterline, but I think it looks too "Anime-ish" on me, and I wanted to make the look natural.

Weeee, Versatile Blogger Award! (yay!)

So firstly, I really want to thank Crystal for giving me this award. I've never had anything like this before, so thanks again, I really appreciate it! :D <3

Rules

- If you are nominated, you have been awarded the Versatile Blogger Award
-Thank the person who has given you this award. That's common courtesy
- Include a link to their blog. That's also common courtesy
- Next, select 15 blogs/bloggers that you have recently discovered or follow regularly
- Nominate those bloggers for a Versatile Blogger Award
- Finally, tell the person who has nominated you 7 things about yourself

So shichi interesting things about me...

1. I have been teaching myself japanese since last year february on and off. (A long time I know) And I have since forgotten most of the vocabulary *slaps self*

2. OCD...OCD...OCD. I have some really weird ones. I can't sleep at night if I don't brush my teeth for exactly 5 minutes on the dot. Also if I'm awake at midnight can't brush my teeth at 12.01am because its too far into the next day already.
I wash my hands 20+ times everyday, if I don't I can't concentrate or sleep knowing that I've touched something. Even if its a clean work surface, I won't touch it without washing my hands v.v

3. I'm a trained beautician/beauty therapist and I want to open my own japanese styled salon in London one day :3

4. I am an extreme gamer girl. I play video games so extremely that my eye is always twitching xD

5. I am very clumsy. My worst week of clumsiness had to be when I broke 2 mirrors and two of my mums new plates and1 bowl in the space of 42 hours. You should not bring me into a house full of valuables lol

6. I really really reaaaaaally want to go to America! I really want to eat the food, even though the fast food does look pretty greasy and fattening, I could die for one of those huge, greasy, fatty, cheesy, meaty, bready tower burgers. Let's not forget that I also want to visit Japan one day :3

7. Now for a weird one, hope you're ready for this. I have a phobia of bubbles. Yes bubbles. Bubbles as in...bath time bubbles, bubbles for cleaning dishes and just hordes of bubbles in general. I can't even look at them without feeling seriously anxious. They just look so horrible when they're all like stuck together and BLEGH!

I don't know/follow 15 bloggers to nominate so until then.... o.o

Westfield shopping centre and clothes for tomboys!

So on Monday I went to Westfield Shopping Centre for the first time ever. I don't think I've seen such a huge shopping centre before in my life lol.
There was so many clothing stores that I thought I was going to suffocate with the amount of...clothing.

I went there to go and get new clothes because all my clothes are too big. Honestly, if there are any other tomboys in the UK like me, that struggle to find trendy, fitted clothing, I would most definitely recommend going to the stores there!
I was so happy to actually be able to find clothes that I liked and felt comfortable in. They did alot of "mens style jeans" with womens proportions and stuff. I was rather impressed! xD

But....as usual, it always comes down to the price of things. I saw a pair of jeans for £70 which were literally womens carrot jeans with braces made out of rope. That's not worth £70...right? I mean whats stopping the crotch of the jeans tearing when you take a seat huh? As far as I'm concerned £70 doesnt mean that they're rip proof or anything... >.>

Anyway, I bought a denim blazer, a red jeans jacket and a pair of baggy trousers. Here's my outfit of the day  and a pic of the jacket:

These are my first pair of blue jeans in 8 years. Interesting right? xD

I then went on to a Game store and met Lara Croft and Connor. :3
The detailing on these statues were out of this world. I have never seen anything this awesome in London before. And the funny thing was that everyone was ignoring them until I went and took photos of them lol

Starstruck! After taking this photo I went to buy my red jacket :3

---------------------------------------------------
On another note, I've finished 90% of my cosplay and will start taking photos soon.

"Why not take some now?" - Because I'm a perfectionist and I refuse to show anyone anything that's unfinished or not right. Even though I still hate everything I've done. Perfectionism has to be one of my worst traits next to my OCD of washing my hands everytime I touch something. v.v

-------------------------------------
Lastly... Nobody really understands why I prefer dressing like a guy and hiding my tatas. The only reason can be one thing. I am a cross dresser or a tomboy. Not an extreme version of a tomboy, but I don't wear girly outfits. I live in trousers and baggy shirts lol. On many occassions I have been mistaken for a young boy, which I don't really mind because I would rather look manly than like a girl anyway. Girls smell! LOL

If I could chose not to wear makeup and still look remotely like a tomboy then I probably would do it. But being a beautician and having an interest in different makeup styles does not mean that I can't wear anything on my face. The reason for me saying this is because I've been getting alot of hate lately v.v

I'd appreciate it if I didn't recieve the occassional homophobic tumblr questions/comments. If my sexuality/appearance bothers you then you have the option to delete me from facebook, unfollow my tumblr, blog, instagram and block me on Youtube. Because honestly, if you want to share your hate on homo/bisexuals, you should try telling someone that actually cares

Just thought I would throw that in there lol
-----------------

P.S. Congrats to the gals who were nominated for the GGA! :D (Yeah I'm a bit late lol)

Just updating....

Hello guys,

Sooooo.....As you may have noticed I do disappear occassionally from all types of social networking, I don't post as much as I used to.
I've been super busy with putting the finishing touches to my cosplay, looking for a job and helping my mum plan her wedding.
I'm starting to think I should do vlogs and stuff, just do keep everything up to date. But I also need to blog about things that are close to home for me. I feel like I have much to write about but I just end up not doing it. >.>
-----------------------------
Anyway, I have lots of photos and stuffies to post here, so keep reading :3

These are two different eyeliner styles I've been wearing lately :3

On another note, I was thinking of changing my hair back to red. These photos are from 2012:

Whilst I like how the red looks, I'm also in love with the purple in my hair aswell. Choices choices.... ;_;

-----------------

I'm planning on filming another requested tutorial soon, and also a haul video. I also want to record a makeup video for my cosplay, but time is always of the essence and I never seem to have much of it lol.

On another note I've lost 5lbs. I started eating healthily and exercising more. Lately I've slipped out of exercising though lol, I tried pilates and literally fucked myself up xD

But on that note, I think if I continue then I will hopefully get a nice toned body. I also want to start taking martial arts classes so I also have some kind of fitness hobby outside of everything else I do, and so I also have some form of self defense. I get lots of creepy men following me around when I'm in the street.
Would rather be safe than sorry :3

I'm gonna wrap this up right here, I will post again very soon about something that has been bothering me >.>

Simple Dark Gyaru Makeup Tutorial!

Hi guys!

So I've finally been able to wear makeup, I'm so relieved :3
If you don't know why I wasn't able to wear makeup, its because I had Blepharitis in my right eye. It's sort of like an infection, but mine was caused by an allergic reaction.
I tried out a new eyeliner, next thing I know my eye was all itchy and puffy lol.

But It's okay now, still a little itchy, but was given the all clear to put makeup on. :)

So here's my latest tutorial. It was requested by HikaruBunnie, and she wanted me to do a simple gothic styled makeup which she could wear on a day out with less than ten neutral colours.
She wanted me to create something that is wearable during the day, but also can be classed as evening makeup and still looks gothic (Hence both natural and bold lipstick).

I hope you like the tutorial. Me with my perfectionist ass just can't help but notice flaws all the time >.>
